I have just realised that this year I shall be marking the 15th anniversaries of the assorted procedures surgeries and treatments for my breast cancer 😊
15 years, that’s rather encouraging – and indeed I have just remembered that I completely forgot the 15th anniversary of finding a lump in my breast on the day before Christmas Eve.
That’s even more encouraging 😊
A memory has surfaced – the consultant said that it was probably my highly trained sense of touch that helped me to find the 1st lump as it was still quite small….
In the end there were 2 separate lumps, and they had already begun to spread.
So please, all of you, chaps and chapesses alike, do check yourselves. If in doubt, see a doctor, yes even now in these Covid times.
Much easier to treat when you find it early.Â
